A. doing a watermelon - "That fucking fruit is real!"
B. dissing a sistah - "That fucking fruit is real!"
C. dissing anyone else - "That fucking fruit is real!"
D. my amazing banana - "That fucking fruit is real!"
E. the way the one percent fucks us over with misleading packaging/marketing -
"This is real fruit, okay? Trust me. It's good for you, too. I mean us. It's good for our bottom line, not necessarily your fat ass. But look, it's got strawberries in it! I mean, it's got Real Fruit in it. No, really, the FTC says we can tell you that it's naturally flavored even though we don't put a single fucking strawberry in it and we make it out of dried out pears and corn syrup." General mills is being sued about this one.
What a Nutella!
Ferrero, makers of the chocolate hazlenut spread, is also being sued - for portraying the stuff as a "healthy nutritious breakfast for children" when it is just about as good for you as a candy bar. They'll be paying out a measly three million dollars to consumers in the class action suit.
I could go on and on... How about "100% pure and natural," Tropicana? Liars. But wait - the FDA doesn't even define the word "natural."
From a food science perspective, it is difficult to define a food product that is 'natural' because the food has probably been processed and is no longer the product of the earth. That said, FDA has not developed a definition for use of the term natural or its derivatives. However, the agency has not objected to the use of the term if the food does not contain added color, artificial flavors, or synthetic substances.
The FDA is just another farce controlled by the corporations. Check this out.
It's dog eat dog in the greedy corporate world. One will sue the other for coming up with a better scam. In the end, the winners are the ones with enough money to manipulate the law so they can keep on deceiving.
