Things You Didn't Know about Cocks

Explained by your connoisseurs of cock. As you know, cocks come in all shapes and sizes and there are many different names for them but when it comes to function, they all do pretty much the same thing. Since we've had a tough time with our plumbing all our lives, we're not going to tell you how to work with yours. At the same time, we do work on pipes. We think we're pretty good at it but since plumbing isn't our strongest suit, we like to bone up on it when it's time to get to work. Recently we replaced a friend's drippy old tap with a nice fresh one. Yes, we have some very refined skills. Everyone that sees this thing knows that it is all business! Really, it is pretty amazing. You wouldn't believe the pressure build up that it takes to finally make this thing shoot off! Anyway... Our neighbor's water heater started leaking and we replaced the valve (or cock) that is very important in keeping water heaters safe. It's commonly called a pressure valve, or relief valve and they aren't hard to replace. I should have done a pictorial for the site but um... my camera batteries were dead. Yea, that's it! Dead batteries. Aunt May's Glossary: Sample Cock - According to Wikipedia, it has nothing to do with window shopping for a nice tap. However, the use of one could definitely lead to that sort of activity! Petcocks - This term is so misleading! As an owner of the pet rock, I certainly have a petcock or two in my house. I bet if you snoop, you'll find some in almost everyone's home! Yes, Even Pat's. Bibcocks - Now this is more like it. Just as you'd suspect, they're the cute little baby ones! Tap - I like this one because it can be a noun or a verb, even a transitive verb. (Tap, Tapping, Being tapped - all good to me!) Friend's drippy old tap - This sounds pretty yucky and personal but I can tell you that it was handled with professional decorum and no cocks were hurt in the making. Ballcock - Some people think that this pair, or threesome if you like, are dependent on each other but that isn't true at all! Cocks opperate just fine without being paired with balls. It just isn't automatic. With your standard cock and ball set up, The cock relies on the balls to activate it. If your cock has no balls, you have to activate the cock yourself. I'm talking from experience, so trust me on this.
