The Blogger tools don't do well when adding several copy/pastes. The formatting gets junked up and it is almost impossible to fix. My appologies to subscribers that get an email every time I try to tweak a post to make it look right.
Blogger's "preview" is a (expletive here) joke.

May, you might try to go into your Settings -> Formatting and turn off "convert line breaks." Dunno if that will help. But remember that this is all in HTML and not just the text you're typing or copy/pasting. Not that this is any help whatsoever.

I don't know much about HTML but I'm slowly learning. I think the problem with the previous post is the extra html that came in the form of metadata, which I manually stripped because I'm just not geekey enough o know a better way.
